Citizen Designer is a collection of essays about the ethics of design and the role of designers in being responsible citizens. I created a design for a dust jacket for this book, as well as the page layouts of the first few chapters. The main idea of these chapters is that because design is able to communicate and influence people that designers need to be aware of the choices they make and what they choose to promote. I was inspired by the idea of choice and consequence and used illustrations of doors to represent this idea metaphorically.
